Short Bio of Speaker

Born in a small central Queensland town in 1963, Dymphna began her working life as a jillaroo. Her first investment was a cow at the age of 4, which she used her natural entrepreneurial spirit to breed with others in the area, creating her first asset portfolio - a herd.

She sold her cattle herd to pay for her university degree in Accounting and Economics and graduated from the Australian National University in Canberra. On graduation, she had sixteen job offers and chose to move to Sydney where she worked with the prestigious Coopers & Lybrand (one of the big eight at that time in accountancy firms worldwide). She also did stints as a financial controller in the liquor industry, the mining industry, and the stock-broking and finance industry.

In 1994, she found herself 'starting over' after a divorce left her with very little, pregnant and with a toddler to support on her own. To get back on her feet, she moved to the Sunshine Coast and went back to what she knew, accounting, by starting her own accountancy practice, Active Financial Answers. Today Active Financial Answers is a thriving business based in Maroochydore and has expanded to have offices in Melbourne and Sydney. Although Dymphna no longer practices as an accountant, she remains closely in touch with the company which boasts a staff of 18.

In 2000 Dymphna met US property guru and real estate adviser to Robert Kiyosaki, Dr Dolf de Roos and as a result of his influence began to research how to invest in real estate as a way to generate cash flow and create long term wealth. Within just one year she had accumulated a $3.5 million property portfolio, with $1.55 million in equity. Through just one property purchased with none of her own money, she managed to generate a passive income equivalent to more than the average Australian wage. Since that time she has become firm friends with de Roos and has continued to invest. Her portfolio has expanded to be a multi-million dollar international property portfolio which led her to be featured in a book alongside the most successful property investors in the country titled 'Secrets of Property Millionaires Exposed " in 2005.

On top of her property investing and accountancy practice, the 42-year-old mother of three who is now happily remarried, is also involved in a highly successful national mentoring program for women, WildlyWealthyWomen.com; and runs events and sells educational products via her website

In 2006 the unstoppable dynamo that is Dymphna will also be co-launching a new investment finance service called Investors Edge Finance which is a national network of finance strategists who can source finance, and assist investors through ongoing education and support

Dymphna is in great demand nationally and internationally as a speaker on international investment, growing wealth through property investment, asset protection and taxation issues. She is also regularly called on by the media to be interviewed, or contribute.

Dymphna's knowledge base is vast and ever expanding. She has a rare gift for imparting complex information in an easy-to-follow, fun way to all walks of life - from those who are totally new to property investing through to seasoned investors looking for advanced strategies. This is perhaps no better demonstrated than during one of her trademark Millionaire Makeover's - where she takes a willing volunteer from the audience and plays a hypothetical game using their real life current financial situation to demonstrate how that particular person can start investing in property that day, buying properties that are on the market now (or have been very recently), to show how possible it is to achieve a million dollar property portfolio (or more), significant equity, and passive income - fast!

She is dedicated to showing others how to achieve financial freedom through education and planning. Her workshops motivate ordinary people to grow their knowledge, learn effective financial growth techniques and to focus on their personal goals. She openly shares tips and pitfalls learned from her own experience in wealth building, and makes the whole experience extremely fun and motivating.
