Short Bio of Speaker
Noel has over 40 years experience in the financial services industry. He is a founding director of Whittaker Macnaught Pty Ltd, and he was named Australian Investment Planner of the Year for 1988.
Noel writes weekly columns for major Australian newspapers including the Sydney Morning Herald, the Brisbane Sunday Mail, the Melbourne Age, the Brisbane Courier Mail and the Perth Sunday Times. He is a regular contributor to magazines such as Australian Doctor and Good Taste, and also does weekly broadcasts on over 50 radio stations including ABC News Radio and local ABC Brisbane.
He has written 12 best selling books, and has recorded 2 bestselling Audio Cassettes and a CD-ROM. His book Making Money Made Simple was recently named in the top 100 of the most influential books of this century. It was the only money book to be so honoured.

PUBLICATIONS A total of thirteen books in Australia all of which have been best sellers. These include the famous Making Money Made Simple which sold over one million copies and was voted by the Australian Booksellers Association as one of the hundred most influential books of the twenty first century.
ACHIEVEMENTS Received the Centenary Medal in 2003 for services to the Australian Financial Services Industry and in 1988 was awarded the title "Financial Planner of the Year ".
In 2003 participated with the Queensland Government and Toshiba, in a joint venture to produce a software programme to analyse business profitability.
For the last twenty three years has been a founding Director of Whittaker Macnaught, one of Australia's leading independently owned financial planning companies, with a staff of over seventy, six branches throughout Queensland and over one billion dollars under advice.
